LOXM NYC Skill Sharing for DIY Electronics
Brooklyn Fireproof (119 Ingraham St., Brooklyn)
HEY — want to learn how to make something really cool and on-the-cheap and then watch a kickass show while seeing some trippy-ass/disturbingly awesome projections while you drink and eat your way through your evening?
Learn how to use basic electronic components for home made noise effects, or basic utilities like a bike light, and get help on some DIY electronic/circuit bent projects you’ve already started on your own at Brooklyn Fireproof in Bushwick, 119 Ingraham St on Dec. 3rd from 8-10pm. It’s a skill sharing workshop led by (the marginally-skilled) Megan Moncrief and (the actually-skilled) Wes Marcarelli. $5.
//Make sure to RSVP if you want to do the skill-share so we know how much stuff to bring!!
//LEDs and batteries will be available for making bike lights… so if you want to make one bring something weatherproof to house it in (pill bottle, mint tin, etc…). //And if you want to make a contact mic – get ready to learn some soldering skills and bring an old guitar cable that you don’t mind repurposing.
