An Evening with n+1

n+1 presents A History of the Present, an evening of readings from contributors to the twelfth and latest issue: Conversion Experience. Led by n+1’s founding co-editor Chad Harbach, the night will feature selections from Richard Beck, Elizabeth Gumport and Kent Russell. New York based-writer Beck will share from his piece about the history of Pitchfork, the defining music website. Gumport, an associate editor of n+1, will read from her analysis of Gchat, the messaging application of Gmail. Lastly, Russell will read from his story of the Gathering of the Juggalos, the annual festival of the band Insane Clown Posse, in Cave-in-Rock, Illinois.
