Sunday, November 20th: Meditation Prison Project Open Meeting

Prison Project Open Meeting
The Interdependence Project (302 Bowery, 3rd Fl. (Ring Middle Buzzer), Manhattan)
Noon-2pm
Free, RSVP requested: caroline@theidproject.org

In response to a swelling prison population in the United States, IDP’s Prison Project is offering an opportunity to become involved in direct service work, legislative initiatives and community engagement on issues related to Incarceration and Criminal Justice Reform.

Whether you are newly interested in Criminal Justice Reform or thinking about how imprisonment relates to your contemplative practice, this open meeting can be a great place to meet with other meditators interested in applying their practice and engaging with the larger world.

If you’ve participated in previous Prison Project retreats, we invite you to come back and give us feedback on your involvement, and help us shape the Project’s future.

Please RSVP or send any questions to caroline@theidproject.org.
