n extraordinary exhibition of original cartoon strips, watercolors, and iris prints by the Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist, author, playwright, and iconic New Yorker Jules Feiffer. The centerpiece of the show is the Dancer cartoons which ran for 40 years in The Village Voice and as a monthly feature in the New York Times. Demonstrating his continued interest in the dancer form, the exhibition will also feature drawings and prints of male dancers, many with an aura of Fred Astaire as well as tap and jazz dancers, alongside drawings of couples engaged in both romantic ballroom poses and more contemporary movements.
