Volunteer with Prospect Park in Exchange for Free Studio Recording Time

Want to lay down a track at the Beat Cave, the new state-of-the-art recording studio at the Audubon Center?

Here’s the deal: If you’re between 15 and 26 years of age, volunteer some time at the Park and we’ll thank you with FREE recording time in the Beat Cave. Our studio is geared towards the needs of hip-hop artists and singer-songwriters. We’ll hook you up with our recording engineer and you’ll be on your way to recording your track. The more you volunteer, the more time you get in the studio. No previous experience with recording required.

What’s volunteering at the Park like? You get to be outdoors, meet new people, and care for Brooklyn’s great Prospect Park. It’s about taking pride in your work and making a difference in the community. There’s plenty of opportunities every week to volunteer and plenty of time to get into the studio.
