Friday, July 22nd: Brooklyn Lyceum Summer Fete with Free Drinks and Food

Brooklyn Lyceum Summer Fete
Brooklyn Lyceum (227 4th Ave., Brooklyn)
9pm
$5 for party, $8 for party & bands

You know what we hate? “Limits.” Like, “You can’t walk all the way to the subway in those shoes,” or “You can’t make a living off of poker.” Sure you can. Here are some other things you can do: You can dance in Park Slope. While eating ice cream. And free beer and free hot dogs. You can listen to some rad Brooklyn bands, like Bird Love, and some rad Brooklyn indie/electro/disco DJs, like Brian Blackout. You can see a New York City premiere of a play. You can do all of this in a 100-year-old repurposed public bath house. You can party without getting on the subway, but if you do want to take the subway, you can take the R to Union Street. You can do whatever you want; it’s summertime. The only thing you can’t do is be bored.

Lagunitas open bar from 10pm til it’s gone.
