The German Consulate General, in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut New York, invites you to a concert with the BronxBerlin Connection at the Goethe-Insitut Wyoming Building.

The BronxBerlinConnection is one of a number of very successful Hip-Hop projects that was initiated by the Berlin Street Work project Gangway e.V. and has been working with young people in Berlin for over 20 years.

On April 17 the third BronxBerlinConnection delegation will head to New York to perform all over the city, and most importantly, to meet, interact and learn with and from young people from all over New York. One of their concerts will take place at the Goethe-Institut Wyoming Building on April 19, repeating their successful appearance at the German Consulate General in New York in 2009. Through the cooperation with CUNYPREP, the partner institution in New York, a delegation of students was sent to Berlin for the first time in 2010.

The BronxBerlinConnection is made possible through the support of: The German Consulate (NYC), the Goethe-Institut, the U.S. Embassy (Berlin), CUNYPREP, Fordham University, The House of World Cultures (Berlin), and the Kreuzberg Children’s Foundation (Berlin).
