Contemporary Narrative will examine the various ways in which the idea of narrative is understood and used in contemporary performance. Topics for discussion will include the use of both fictional and non-fictional characters, appropriation of real life events, dialogue, documentary theater, etc. Moderated by Katherine Profeta with panelists including Maria Bauman, Walter Dundervill, Jack Ferver, and André Lepecki.

Lobby TALKS creates a forum for open and in-depth discourse on contemporary issues in dance and performance. Conceptual themes will be investigated, challenged, and considered by an invited group of artists, critics, and theorists, and is open to all who would like to join the conversation.
