Through Thursday, March 31st: Asian Contemporary Art Week

This year the 7th edition of Asian Contemporary Art Week takes place in NYC, promoting Asian contemporary art through various events held at over 35 museums and galleries. Highlights include Liu Xiaodong at the Guggenheim, Almagul Menlibayeva at Priska C. Juschka and a dramatic installation by Korean artist Atta Kim, who will create a 5 and 1/2-ft-tall, 1,300 lb. ice sculpture of a seated Buddha that will slowly melt in the Rubin Museum of Art from 3/25-27.
